Dr Richard Napier (Executive Chairman)

Dr Napier trained as a geologist to PhD level in Western Australia. His professional career started with detailed studies of gold and uranium paragenesis in the Witwatersrand of South Africa, and led on to his spearheading of regional target generation and project evaluations in Australia, South and Central America, Southern and Central Africa, and Central Asia, looking for uranium, gold and PGM targets for major mining houses.

Having gained further hands on project experience as Minerals Manager at Exploration Consultants Limited (now RPS Energy) he then moved to London to head up the specialist fund technical advisory group GFMS Mining and Exploration Consulting (GMEC), a division of one of the world's foremost metals research groups, GFMS.  

Dr Napier was formerly a leading mining advisor to New York based research group Gerson Lehrman and sits on the board of several public and private companies. He is also a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.

Neville John Bassett (Non-Executive Director) BBus. , CA

Mr Neville Bassett is a Chartered Accountant operating his own corporate consulting business, specialising in the area of corporate, financial and management advisory services. Mr Bassett consults to a number of publicly listed companies and private company groups in a diversity of industry sectors such as stockbroking, property and resources. He is a director or company secretary of a number of public and private companies.

Mr Bassett has been involved with numerous public company listings and capital raisings. His involvement in the corporate arena has also taken in mergers and acquisitions, and includes significant knowledge and exposure to the Australian financial markets. Mr Bassett has a wealth of experience in matters pertaining to the Corporations Act, ASX listing requirements, corporate taxation and finance.

Mr Bassett is a director of Westar Capital Limited, the holder of an Australian Financial Services Licence.

Robert Grover (Non-Executive Director)

Mr Grover is a former director of the uranium company Redport, which was taken over by Mega Uranium (TSX: MGA) in 2006.

Mr Grover's expertise is in corporate and financial management and he has been involved in the listing of a number of public companies both on the ASX and AIM. Mr Grover is a Fellow of The Institute of Company Directors, member of the Australian Society of Accountants CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business degree.

Jane Flegg (Company Secretary)

Jane Flegg has many years of experience in finance and administration.  During the past decade she has been a Corporate Advisor to several ASX Public Listed Companies specialising in corporate and financial management and compliance.

Geoff Blackburn (Chief Geological Consultant, Project Manager Peru)

Geoff has more than 30 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry. -Has worked for Kennecott, Otter Explorations, Audax Resources and Outokumpu conducting mineral exploration programs amongst many others both in Australia and internationally. He is also holder of the Australian Medal of Order (O.A.M.) for services to the mining industry.
